Nicki, you are in for more danger than you can imagine. An anonymous phone call has brought you halfway across the world to the rainforests of southern Mexico. Your mission, the caller said, is to recover the crystal skulls that are buried deep in the Temple of Destiny. The skulls are at the centre of a Mayan mystery and are known to harness a great power - once united, a power with devastating consequences. The skulls protectors are Nazi soldiers, Roman gladiators and ghoulish creatures from the past. How did they get here? What trick is time playing? Once you have found the skulls on each level you need to find the exit, taking you to the next chamber and further into the bowels of the temple. To play with the keypad closed, use the joystick to move Nicki left and right and to jump up, and use the soft keys to jump left and right. Press the joystick to fire. The number of skulls to collect and the direction of the closest one is indicated at the top of the screen. Nicki has 3 lives but she can collect hearts which are bonus lives. Maps are checkpoints. To combat the soldiers you will need to jump on their heads or shoot on sight; some can only be stunned and will return to life. The Temple of Destiny chambers plunge deep below the rainforest floor. There is a cool breeze that whistles through the emptiness. You know you are not alone. Be very aware, trust your senses. Find the crystal skulls and then find the exit.
