1. Introduction
Our team proudly presents its newest mobile phone game, the slot
machine of the year, the one and only Gambling Machine for mobile.
If you are an addicted gambler, this is definitely the game for you. It is
a real challenge to bankrupt the bank and win the highest sum (9999
credits). All in all, it is a fun and interactive game, which will make you
empty your phone’s battery. The game is an excellent free gambling opportunity. No matter how
much you play, we guarantee that you will not lose any money, just
gain all the fun in betting and winning. The more you bet, the more
chances you have to win and to lose, so be careful with high bets.
Further more, we will present in more detail the game’s features and
some screen shots from the Nokia S60 phones; hence, if you have a
different hand set, the resolution of the graphics will be different.
2. Playing
2.1. Starting the application
To start the game enter in the Games (or Applications, depending on
your hand set) folder, select GamblingMachine and press the Fire or
Call key. When you start up the game, you will see our logo for 5
seconds or until you press a key, and then the game starts loading.
During the loading process, you will see the following slpash screen:
Notice the small progress bar at the bottom of the screen, which
indicates the loading percentage.
2.2. Menu
After the application is fully loaded, you will see the a main
menu, in which the selected action is drawn in orange and the available ones
in white.
Main Menu commands:
2.2.1. New Game: starts a new game, gives you 50 credits and
places the default bet on one line.
2.2.2. Settings: you can turn sounds on/off. Use UP/DOWN or 2/8 to
select which option you want, and LeftSoftKey for returning without
saving the changes or RightSoftKey to save the new sound setting
2.2.3. Help: a screen where you can read a brief description about
the game, the keys you can use, winning policies, etc. Scroll up and
down by using the arrows or “2/8” keys to see all the text. Press any
other key to return to main menu
Exit - exits the game, obviously.
To select a menu item, press the Fire key or key “5” on the keypad of
your phone. To scroll in the menu, use keys UP/ DOWN or “2/8”
When you return to the main menu from the game (by pressing the
LeftSoftKey) there will also be a “Continue Game” option. To make
the game more difficult, there is no “Save/Load” possibility, so each
time you enter the application, you have to start a new game.
2.3. The game
When you select in the menu one of the commands “New Game” or
“Continue Game”, you will see the actual Gambling Machine:
Current win: the amount of credits you win / per line. When the
winning line is flashing, you can see here how much you have won on
that line.
Total credits: The total sum of your credits. From this sum it is
subtracted your bet, and to this sum it is added your winnings.
Current bet: How many credits you are currently betting. This
depends on how many lines you play (1, 3, 5, 7, 9). You can change
the amount of lines by pressing Left / Right keys or “4 / 6” pad keys.
There are a total of 9 lines to bet on, here is a picture with all of them:

1 line: the red line, middle of all the wheels
3 lines: 1 line plus the green and yellow lines.
5 lines: 3 lines plus the blue and pastel pea green lines
7 lines: 5 lines plus the pastel blue violet and cyan lines
9 lines: 7 lines plus the brown and mauve lines.
Now, that you know how and why to change the bet, press the Fire
key or key “5” and the wheels start spinning, hold your breath, finger
crossed, and look at what you’ve won! After checking all the lines that
you bet on, if you have been lucky and won something, the down
counting process begins. You can always stop this process by
pressing any key, or you can enjoy it until all the winnings are
transformed into credits. The game ends when you exceed the
incredible sum of 9999 credits. After this point, the bank can no
longer guarantee the Gambling Machine, and it thus, you win the
game.
From experience, we can say that it is pretty hard to reach this sum,
unless you are the luckiest man on earth. 2.4. Special Bonuses
While the wheels are spinning, you might here some sounds (beside
the wheel stop sound), and you do not know why are they played.
This happens when you get a magic hat , or a lucky roulette
on one of your lines. There are three wheels that this magic
symbols exist on (1, 3, and 5) and if you catch them on all 3 wheels,
and you are betting on a line which contains the three magic symbols,
you enter the special bonus, with overwhelming chances of a great
win!

2.4.1. Magic Hats
When you catch 3 magic hats, you enter this screen, where you can
win more than 1000 credits!
Using the Left/Right (or 4/6) keys, select the Magic Hat you like the
most and press the Fire / (5) key to see how much you have won.
Every time you enter this special bonus, the pigeons are randomly
hidden in the hats, so it is a surprise every time.
The screen freezes for 2 seconds, but this is not all! If you are lucky,
and choose the right magic hats, you will repeat those steps until you
choose a mischance hat, one which has smoke coming out of it:
Then you will return to the main machine, your winnings will be down
counted, and you can spin again the wheels.
2.4.2. Lucky Roulette
This is the second special bonus, in which you enter if you catch 3
lucky roulettes. You have here the chance of winning up to 750
credits with only one spin! The screen will look like this:
Just press the Fire (or 5) key, cross your fingers, and hope for the big
win! The wheel will spin, and spin, and spin, a randomly number of
times and you will see the result in the bottom left text box (on some
hand sets, this text box is placed elsewhere, due to different
resolutions). The screen freezes for 1.5 seconds, then you see the
main machine and the down counting process begins.
When the main machine is not spinning, you can return to the main
menu by pressing the LeftSoftKey. There you will have a “Continue
Game” option. This happens automatically when you receive a call, or
a message.
